All in life is a Circle: we see how Life itself is a Circle, in its cyclic expression with the seasons, lunar cycles, births and deaths. The Circle is omnipresent in Nature: the physical structure of the Universe, from the smallest particles to the bricks that compose it, is a circle, and all together are part of the great Circle of existence. The Circle is an image of harmony and does not have weak points: its strength is in the equality of all the points that compose it, and in the equidistance from the centre.

In Japan, the word Circle is Enso and signifies among other things Illumination , Force, Universe. Its strength is that of helping us to connect with life, with all creation, in fact every time we form a circle with other people we are interconnected. And with the force of creation we represent not only the sum of individuals but all life in its manifestation.

What unites a circle and keeps it together is its centripetal force (tending towards the centre), its intention is harmony of which the essence, in the end, is love. We obviously didn't discover this, but it has always been human heritage, that used this shape to find each other and share around a fire, to warm up and take care of ourselves and others.

Life doesn't ask anything other than to continue to exist in its maximum manifestations. We are Life, and when we unite we share, manifest and bring out what we are, our qualities, our potential. We are with Life.

It is important, if not vital, to have around us people that represent us, that make us like a mirror in a way that to look at them (or think of them) is enough to recognize who we really are, how we want to feel and feel connected with life, especially in our noisy life made of thoughts and chaos, fear and divisions. The great sickness of our society is alienation the sensation of being separated from everything

The great and only problem of man is a problem of identity. As said by Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God, “’to Give’ transforms ’to Have’ into ’to Be’”. There is nothing that makes you evolve and grow faster as a person than to put what you are at the service of others. Life doesn't ask of you other than that you be really what you are, just as a flower is not asked to be anything other than a flower, and this puts you in your exact place at the centre of the Cycle of Life.

We of the Gendai Reiki Italia® sensed the lighting of a flame: it is our task to feed it because its warmth is of family , of a return to home, of unity. It is a flame that we would like to share, lighting other hearts in other circles with a common sensation of belonging to the same force. We are all Life, interpreted in infinite ways.

Our idea

All over the world there are movements similar to ours and we wish that our project will create a communion of intents, a unity of all the marvellous diverse realities that are part of the same Circle.

We are convinced that, especially today, there is an absolute need of Harmony and Respect towards your fellow man. We think that a durable peace at a planetary level has to find its foundations in a new consciousness, a new educational paradigm, orientated towards respect and tolerance. And especially, we are sure that we are not the only ones that think like that! After all, our motto is an African proverb that says:

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with many.

For this, we are trying to realize our project, involving in our meeting the founders of the most known schools of Reiki and the bringers of other disciplines, experienced by us personally. We have invited two major representatives of Reiki, Hiroshi Doi and Hyakuten Inamoto, Huna shaman Serge Kahili King, Native American storyteller Manitonquat and his companion Ellika, professor Masaru Emoto a scientist who has discovered a particular emotive system to study the effects of words upon water and last but not least, professor Amit Goswami, a physicist specializing in Quantum Mechanics to explain a new way of understanding the realities around us.

Our project - "The Circle of Life: many voices, one song" - will take place in Trieste from 25th to 28th March 2010.

Contacting, inviting and arranging the presence of those personalities to our event was not simple, but the will and harmony present in the group demonstrated to each of them that our intent is that of creating a new line of harmonic thought in the holistic alternative world.

The ultimate goal is to have the respect of all disciplines, making it possibile for their practicants and practitioners to share new knowledge in a harmonious relationship.

As the title of the event "The Circle of Life: many voices, one song", says, we want to involve a vast public in the experiences and teachings of internationally renowned personages, free of any religious or cultural obligations, treating diverse disciplines, the scope of which is that of teaching and spreading the vision of a life happily lived in Peace, Love and Respect.

Our project preview...

1 The involvement of school classes from kindergarten to high school, also on regional basis to promote the knowledge and the listening of the stories of the shaman, rich in legends and teachings of ancient and far-away populations. Starting from childern that are our future, for a better integration and multiculturalism in a multi-ethnic society and to propose a scientific vision of the treated subjects through the conference and the images of the effects of energies upon water.

2 In view of the exclusivity of the convention, to make the event known nationally and to the nearby countries of Slovenia and Austria and to all practicants and practitioners of of holistic disciplines.

3 The planning of a communal committment to achieve cooperation between practicants of various disciplines (for example: the promotion in schools of the principles of tolerance, peace and love), with publications focussed on this goal.
