Professor Masaru Emoto, born in Japan in 1943, is an international researcher who has achieved worldwide fame for showing how water is profoundly connected to our collective and individual consciousness. His message is simple, profound and far-sighted.
A Laureate of the university of Yokohama, his birth city, Emoto founded the IHM Co in 1986, then obtained a doctorate in alternative medicine from Open International University in 1992.

After having studied the phenomenon of the amassing of sparse stars, his studies were oriented on the mysteries of water, from the daily use to the water present on Earth or inside the human body - from a viewpoint more personal than scientific - convinced that crystals of water reflect their own essence.

The Memory of Water

He is known for his controversial thought (memory of water) regarding the relationship between human thoughts and water, considered at a temperature of -4 °C. He documents his studies and experiments with photos of water crystals, which in fact assume a form harmonic or, on the contrary, chaotic depending on the energy factor used whether a sound (voice, music), a writing (for example applied to a bottle), or a positive or negative thought.

It is easy to imagine how, in our body, composed of 75% water the introduction of food or liquids treated with positive energy (thoughts, words, music) can favour a harmonious disposition of the crystals and thus an optimization of cellular processes that are the basis of life.

Masaru Emoto currently conducts his research only in Japan and conducts seminars all over the world. He is president of IHM General Research Institute, the IHM and the IHM International Hado Membership.

In 2003 Emoto created a non-profit, world-wide organization called “International Water for Life” to which he dedicated his research on water for the benefit of world peace.

He has written numerous books on his original argument, and has sold over three million copies internationally, translated into twenty languages.
